Whatever your plans are right now, slow down. Take those plans to God! Give thought to your ways this week, and commit your plans to the Lord!
We are so much like Noah. We are sinful. But we are also made in the image of God! We are also capable of being blameless in God’s sight! Not by our own power or merit, but by the blood of Christ.
After loving God, loving people is the most important thing! It is what we must get ahold of if we are to live the life God has called us to live. We must learn to truly cherish those God brings into our lives if we are to truly honor God!
This week, God’s Word teaches us some very important lessons with two birds!
Has God given you an ark to build? If you are breathing, the answer is yes. Have you sought Him for the exact specifications?
Should we sin more, that grace may abound? Certainly not! I am grateful that God has orchestrated things in such a way that His perfect grace and justice work hand-in-hand so that I might be saved from death, lavished with His love and blessings, and still have the motivation and drive to pursue His will for my life!
Noah’s life impacted the rest of history! And yours can too!
None of us are perfect, so we must unfortunately sometimes find ourselves in Cain’s land, but if we are striving to honor God, we are not striving in vain!
Cain set the example for what improper worship results in, but our God is deserving of our best efforts!
If you feel as though you have broken what was good for you, remember that God always has more and better and perfect, and He has already written your name on it!
