Whatever your plans are right now, slow down. Take those plans to God! Give thought to your ways this week, and commit your plans to the Lord!
We are so much like Noah. We are sinful. But we are also made in the image of God! We are also capable of being blameless in God’s sight! Not by our own power or merit, but by the blood of Christ.
Should we sin more, that grace may abound? Certainly not! I am grateful that God has orchestrated things in such a way that His perfect grace and justice work hand-in-hand so that I might be saved from death, lavished with His love and blessings, and still have the motivation and drive to pursue His will for my life!
Noah’s life impacted the rest of history! And yours can too!
Humans have an interesting relationship with God, but I am so grateful that Jesus identified with us in order that we might identify with Him!
None of us are perfect, so we must unfortunately sometimes find ourselves in Cain’s land, but if we are striving to honor God, we are not striving in vain!
Cain set the example for what improper worship results in, but our God is deserving of our best efforts!
God is for you, and Satan is against you. Both want to see your desires and needs fulfilled. But only One wants to see you grow and thrive and be healthy and well!
The family of God is the most important family in every society, and God’s greatest call on all of our lives is to grow that family! For some, that will mean marriage and children and grandchildren. For all, that means sharing the gospel, and sharing the love of God at every opportunity!
Just like worship, rest must be a part of our lifestyle. We must continually find rest in God if we want to truly experience rest.
