None of us are perfect, so we must unfortunately sometimes find ourselves in Cain’s land, but if we are striving to honor God, we are not striving in vain!
What does it mean to “be the church?” What does it mean to me to be a member of River Of Life? These are questions that I have pondered after hearing this sermon, and I invite you to read what God has put on my heart in response.
We all have achievements, talents and abilities, and a place of comfort and familiarity in life. However, those things often hinder us from being able to build the Kingdom! I invite you to humble yourself as you study this week, allowing the Holy Spirit to be your enabler, in order that you might act out of the power of the Spirit, rather than your own human, broken, imperfect “power.”
Long-term investments are hard to make. Commitment is difficult two. Yet one is the other. God sets the precedent for long-term investment, as well as commitment, by continuing to be faithful to us each and every day! He desires for you to follow suit, as you invest and commit to the Kingdom of Heaven!
